Hello hungry peoples,
I am literally the cliche of a busy working Mum. As a busy working Mum I don’t have time to mess around, especially in the mornings when the shit hits the fan and the school run is looming. At the moment I have given up on having breakfast while stationary and have been working my way through a series of breakfast smoothies which I find helps keep the time demons at bay. This is one of my current favourites. It has fruit, nuts and dark chocolate so it is totally healthy right?? I do throw in some oats and wheatgerm so I don’t feel like I am going to have a heart attack tomorrow. They don’t do much for the texture but not dying is a good thing. I store the smoothies as single serves in reusable coffee cups so they are always ready to go. Let’s get into it!
